thatonegirls-blog asked: Are you planning on doing a Fault In Our Stars trailer reaction? :)
I’m not sure if you’ve seen it, but I eventually got round to doing it :) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzU9KuVIH5I&list=UUYOhq5F-joK8qQPekd-jU1g&feature=c4-overview
Anonymous asked: You're video's are perfect. Don't ever stop making them!
Thank you so so much! It’s comments like these that totally make my day, and make me more excited and passionate about my channel! <3
Anonymous asked: I'm thinking of buying a camera, and I really like the looks of yours :) Are there any cool features that make it stand out? I see quite a lot of people with a Canon EOS 60D around
I’m not entirely acquainted with all of the technical parts of my camera, though all I can say is, it is so much better than my old one! It’s got much better quality and it’s a lot easier to get a good image with less light :)
establisheddustjacket asked: I love all your videos! It was exam time and I couldn't stop watching! :D How old were you when you started? I want to start a booktube channel but I'm afraid Ill be judged at school for doing so. :s
HAHA! I always find some new obsession during exam time ;) I love that for you it was my videos :P
That was exactly why I took a while to pluck up the courage to start my channel! I eventually just went for it, but kept any connection between my personal online social media sites as separated from my channel as possible.
Though my experience when my friends discovered my channel was much better than anticipated. Everyone who found out, or now knows, has been really intrigued and/or supportive! Though the people I’d classify as “acquaintances” or not even (ie. people in grades below me) don’t really know about it, as far as I can tell. Luckily it was just my closer friends who found out :)
Anonymous asked: I thought you loved me. I thought we had a connection. What happened ?
Why, Anonymous…. I don’t even know your real name :’(
Anonymous asked: how old are you?
Anonymous asked: Hi! I love your videos and I think you're awesome! Just out of curiosity, which kindle do you have? =P
I have the white Kindle 3G Keyboard :)
Anonymous asked: HI. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS :D I was wondering if you could tell me where you found a hardback copy of Sapphire Blue because I can't find it anywhere!
I ordered it from Booktopia :) It’s an Aussie online bookseller, and I did have to wait from them to get it in stock from their supplier :) It was pretty tricky to find!
Anonymous asked: Did you know that Brandon Sanderson did a livestream about a collective writing session? If not, you can watch it on Youtube ;)
No, I did not, but THANK YOU! I’m definitely going to check it out!
Anonymous asked: I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH! I'm really interested in booktubing, but I'm not comfortable enough in front of a camera, so I was thinking of starting book-blogging? Do you have any advice?
I’ve actually just responded to a similar question, so I’ll give you the link to check out my advice :)
Anonymous asked: Hi Catriona! You seem to be a book collector (aren't we all? :P), and I was wondering if it makes a difference to you if a book is on your kindle or physically in your hands? For example, if you buy a book on your kindle and really enjoy it, will you then buy a physical copy for your shelf, or are you content with it being on your kindle? Also, if you don't mind be asking, where did you get your awesome kindle cover from? Thank you!
I’m always going to prefer having physical books, though if I did enjoy one I read on my kindle, I would be more inclined to get it in a physical copy if a) it was a part of a series I wanted to continue, or b) it was an absolute favourite that I intend on re-reading.
The main reason I got my kindle was for convenience when travelling overseas, which I intend on doing more of in the future :) Carrying around lots of books really isn’t the smartest move, when you read so much whilst travelling (mainly during plane and train rides).
I got my cover from etsy! There are some pretty awesome cases there :)
weaintallcaliforniagirls asked: Hello, I'm Lizzie. I just started following you on YouTube. I absolutely love book reviews. I saw Allegiant was on your TBR shelf. I hope you can read it soon and love it as much as I! The series will forever be a favorite! Have a wonderful day! :)
Hey Lizzie! I hope I can get to it soon, too! I’m still super sad and annoyed that I was spoiled on one of the major things that happen in it… :( Kind of why I haven’t picked it up already, I’m afraid :(
Anonymous asked: When did you first read the book thief?
I honestly can’t remember :S It was a few years ago, back in high school….
trishaboylove asked: Hey! I love your YouTube channel! I've watched so many of your videos. I was just wondering if you've ever read m/m or have plans to read any books in the genre? :)
I certainly would love to! I’m actually ashamed that I haven’t read any thus far :( Do you have any to recommend?
